An overview of the various awards presented at graduation for the Class of 2024
The 46th Annual Golf Tournament, Prep’s longest-running fundraiser, welcomed generations of Prep alumni and their guests to Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, NJ on June 10.
The event boasted two shotgun tee-offs, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, for 18 holes on a challenging par 71 Tillinghast-designed course.
When the freshmen of the Class of 2024 took their first steps at Prep, they did so separated by time into hybrid-learning cohorts on a staggered schedule, and separated by distance in seats six feet apart. Now, together, the graduates of the Prep Class of 2024 strode along the Keenan Field turf, together, one more time.
Eight members of the Class of 2026 received Golden Keys Awards at a ceremony on June 6. Inaugurated in 2023, these honors recognize sophomores at Prep who foster a sense of community among their peers, just as Saint Peter himself fostered the Church as its first pope.
Sixteen members of the Class of 2027 received Magis Awards on June 6 at a ceremony in the O’Keefe Commons celebrating the conclusion of their first year at Saint Peter’s Prep.
The Class of 2025 received their Saint Peter’s Prep school rings and medals on May 15 at the annual Junior Class Mass—which invited them, along with friends, family, faculty, and staff, to celebrate the last three years at Prep and to look ahead to the greater responsibilities and mentorship opportunities of senior year.
Saint Peter's Prep received the Student Impact Award at Covenant House New Jersey's signature gala event "Night of Broadway Stars," held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on May 29, in recognition of their record-breaking fundraising efforts at this year's Student Sleep Out.
