The Class of 2025 received their Saint Peter’s Prep school rings and medals on May 15 at the annual Junior Class Mass—which invited them, along with friends, family, faculty, and staff, to celebrate the last three years at Prep and to look ahead to the greater responsibilities and mentorship opportunities of senior year.

Director of Campus Ministry Dr. Susan Woolever began the day with a welcome before the Class of 2024 processed into the gymnasium for a service presided over by Rev. Robert O’Hare, S.J.

“At this point, we already are feeling the gaps of the class of 2024 in our spaces, and you are preparing to rise into the senior class…. in this time of celebration, let us truly reclaim that you are your brother’s keeper, for your peers, for the underclassmen, and for yourself,” Woolever said.

During his homily, Fr. O’Hare also addressed the Junior Class.

“God has given you great power in your speech and in your actions,” he said. “God has asked that you use that power for the benefit of your sisters and brothers as you enter your senior year. Prep echoes God’s invitation to you and encourages you to take up the mantle of a prophet, who proclaims God’s love for all the world in word and action.”

At the conclusion of the service, Prep Principal Mr. Christopher Caulfield, ’03 offered a blessing for the Class of 2024,

“We ask that, as these rings are an unbroken circle, that they may continue to bond together a class both now and in the future as we join the many men who have received an education here under the shadow of Peter,” he said.

We congratulate every member of the Junior Class and wish them much success as they enter the final year of their Prep education this fall.
