As they prepare for their journeys in higher education beyond Grand & Warren, Prep students traveled to Long Island University in Brooklyn on Saturday, September 28 for The Annual New York Black College Expo. This event provided an opportunity for them to meet with Admission Officers from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other universities, learn about scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and explore different types of universities as they prepare for the college application process.
