Select members of Prep’s choir, Vox, traveled to Florida over Presidents’ Day Weekend to work with leading industry professionals in a series of workshops, spanning a score session, Broadway, and more.
In the score session, every Vox member was tasked with learning music, sound effects, and dialogue in order to create voiceovers for animation. With Prep students taking on all of the roles, the final video was one to remember.
The second workshop, Disney’s Broadway Magic, had Vox working with the “Happiest Man on Earth,” Billy Flanigan, to create a scene from Disney Cruise Line’s new musical Tangled. There were many opportunities for singing, dancing, and creating over the five-day trip.
