Losing someone you love is one of the hardest things anyone can face, and it takes a great deal of strength just to move forward each day. While nothing can take away the pain of your loss, there are places that offer comfort, understanding, and connection—especially for young people who are grieving.
Camp Cope and Comfort Zone Camp are two free, professionally-led grief support camps for children and teens who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or significant family member.
These camps provide:
- A safe, nurturing environment to connect with peers who have experienced similar losses
- A mix of traditional camp activities and grief support programming
- Tools to help cope with loss in healthy, constructive ways
- Encouragement, understanding, and emotional support from trained professionals and mentors
Camp Cope (formerly Camp Erin) offers both day and overnight programs across the summer. Learn more at copefoundation.org/camp-cope.
Comfort Zone Camp hosts camps in multiple states and also offers virtual support options. Learn more at comfort zone camp.org.
