Prep’s Concert Band, Sodality Jazz Band, Vox, and the company of Prep Dramatics’ production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying welcomed a packed audience to the Annual Spring Concert on Friday, April 26.
Prep students, as well as family, friends, faculty, and staff, gathered for an unforgettable evening of music, refreshments, and camaraderie—featuring special send-offs for members of the Class of 2024 as we look forward to Commencement.
Vox Director Ms. Emily Fencik offered a welcome, and following an invocation from Prep’s own Rev. Robert O’Hare, S.J., Vox itself began the program.
Their “Jersey Boys Medley,” featuring choreographed movement, won uproarious laughter and applause. Prep’s Concert Band, directed by Mr. Steve Caslowitz, then followed with old and new favorites, including Disney’s “The Bare Necessities.” Prep Dramatics performed a medley from their most recent musical, also featuring young actresses from St. Dominic Academy, Union City High School, County Prep, and High Tech.
Finally, the Sodality Jazz Band, directed by Mr. Steve Caslowitz, closed the night with seven electric jazz numbers.
We thank all the parents, faculty, and staff who helped make the concert a success, and we commend all our students on their impressive work.
