During a ceremony last week, Prep’s seven honor societies joined together to welcome a total of 112 upperclassmen into their ranks—many of whom were inducted to multiple honor societies. The ceremony celebrated new members of the McNally-Sinnott Chapter of the National Honor Society; the Science National Honor Society; and five language honor societies (Società Onoraria Italica, The Chinese Honor Society, Deutsche Ehrenverbindung, Société Honoraire de Français, and Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica). Notably, this was the first ever induction for Prep’s Chinese Honor Society chapter, as our Mandarin language program continues to grow.

The inductees joined the moderators of their respective honor societies in reciting the pledges for their organizations, before being called forward to receive their membership certificates. The evening concluded with a keynote address by Gabriel Santos, ’24.
