Buses lined the Warren Street Plaza on the morning of March 25 as Prep students set off on various adventures for the first of two "Prep Days" this year.
Members of the Class of 2028 gathered in the Commons on June 5 to celebrate the conclusion of their first year at Prep with the annual Magis Awards. Each year, Prep freshmen nominate their own peers for these honors, which recognize those among them who most embody the Jesuit ideal of the magis—striving toward the “more” or the “greater.” Like the Spirit Awards, the Magis Awards recognize freshmen for their involvement, their generosity, and their character.
Earlier this month, freshman and sophomore members of Prep's Economics Club claimed an historic first by winning the highly competitive Euro Challenge National Finals in New York City. This also marks the second time Prep's team has reached the semifinals since it began participating about a decade ago.
Students representing 64 different communities and 100+ middle and grammar schools converged at Grand & Warren for the first time today as members of the Saint Peter’s Prep Class of 2028. Their anticipation to begin the journey ahead was palpable as they gathered this morning in the O’Keefe Commons amid display screens reading “Welcome Home.” Freshman Orientation then began with a welcome from Prep President Dr. Michael Gomez, Ed.D., ’91.
