Forty presenters spanning six decades of Prep graduates returned home to Grand & Warren for our Annual Career Day on December 12 to speak with current students about their professional journeys beyond high school.

The day opened in Prep’s gymnasium with a keynote address from Christopher Maiorino, ’05, an entrepreneur in multiple industries including financial technology.

“I hope, and I pray that all of you guys have the ability to go out and do the same thing that I’m currently doing….You don’t have to go and open your own company. You just have to do something that you love doing,” he said.

Students then filled every classroom throughout Hogan, Shalloe, and Mulry Halls, the Moriarty Science Center, and the English Building for informative 30-minute workshop sessions.

The alumni in attendance represented diverse industries spanning law, media and communications, public service, medicine, business, science, and beyond. Also in attendance were alumnus Rich Dwyer, ’77 and Seamus the therapy dog, about whom you may have learned in Prep Magazine.

Career Day concluded with lunch in the O’Keefe Commons and the opportunity for our students to connect with our graduates in a more casual setting.

We thank all our alumni who joined us that day. View more photos.
