On Wednesday morning, a panel of five veterans in the Prep community met with freshmen and sophomores for a wide-ranging discussion of their military service experiences. Joining us for this third annual Veterans’ Day panel assembly were four alumni and a Prep parent (pictured above, left to right):
- Mr. Ed Connell, ’71, US Army
- Capt. Don Wilson, ’87, US Navy
- Mr. Len Mrozak, ’63, US Marine Corps
- Maj. Josh Tosi, ’07, US Army
- Col. Justin Sapp, P’24,’26, US Army
The panelists shared stories and perspectives from their service, and talked with our students about what inspired and prepared them to serve. Seniors Lucas Hernandez, ’25, Liam Morrison, ’25, and Ebram Bishai, ’25 served as moderators for the conversation.
Special thanks to our Dean of Student Life Ms. Catherine Eppler; Ms. Yajaira Pons of the Guidance & College Counseling Department; Mrs. Caroline Hutchinson, History Department Chairperson; and Mrs. Mary Anne McElroy of the History Department for working to organize the assembly.
