This week, Sarah Lacz joined the Prep community as Vice President of Advancement. Ms. Lacz comes to Prep as a Jesuit-educated professional with 20 years of leadership and strategic fundraising experience—as well as a deep appreciation for the mission and tradition of Jesuit education.
Ms. Lacz most recently served as Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Saint Elizabeth University. She has additional advancement experience with a number of other colleges and universities, including Bloomfield College (VP for Institutional Advancement), Saint Peter’s University (Assistant VP for Advancement and Alumni Engagement; Leadership Gifts Officer), Georgetown University (Director of Development—Northeast) and Stevens Institute of Technology (Associate Director of Major Gifts), as well as in the business world with Wells Fargo.
In her role at Bloomfield, Ms. Lacz was a member of the senior leadership team, playing a key role in the historic merger between Bloomfield College and Montclair State University. During this critical time, she led a team that raised philanthropy to the highest level in four years. As the Assistant Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Engagement at Saint Peter’s University, she contributed to the strategic planning and development of the most recent campaign surpassing goals and raising $46 million in three
years.
Ms. Lacz received her undergraduate degree from Monmouth University and MBA from Saint Peter’s University. She serves on the Advancement Committee at Lacordaire Academy.
