The Prep community raised more than $8,500 for pediatric cancer research in an inaugural St. Baldrick’s Foundation event on April 7, organized by junior Patrick Naughton, ‘26 with support from the Office of Campus Ministry and the Office of Student Life. 
More than 180 Prep Students set a new school record this month by raising a tremendous $85,856 (surpassing last year’s record of $76,222) in donations in support of Covenant House at the 2024 Student Sleep Out, an annual fundraising event during which Prep students sleep in our courtyard in solidarity with the millions of young people who experience homelessness each year.
Saint Peter's Prep received the Student Impact Award at Covenant House New Jersey's signature gala event "Night of Broadway Stars," held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on May 29, in recognition of their record-breaking fundraising efforts at this year's Student Sleep Out.
Hundreds of Prep Students rallied this month to become the top fundraising team in the nation by collecting a tremendous $76,222 (smashing last year’s record-setting $62,607) at the 2024 Student Sleep Out in support of Covenant House—an annual event during which members of our community sleep in our courtyard in solidarity with those individuals who experience homelessness each year.
The Prep community gathered in the gym on March 20 for an Arrupe Keynote panel that led us on a metaphorical pilgrimage with the US prison system to learn more about the lived realities of individuals who have been incarcerated or accused. For more than 20 years, this annual Prep tradition, named for Pedro Arrupe, S.J., the late superior general of the Jesuits, who charged the religious order with its modern mission of forming “men and women for and with others,” explores a different topic related to social justice.
