Competing among more than 3,000 delegates representing schools from 30 different countries in their first ever international conference, Prep’s Model UN team won Best Small Delegation at the Global Citizens Model UN, held at the United Nations campus in New York.
This victory marks the team’s fourth Small Delegation win and their third this competitive season.
All eleven members of Prep’s delegation earned Honorable Mention awards—the only level of individual recognition given at this conference.
Additionally, Gavin Rutledge, ’24 and Jay Johnson, ’26 were selected by the chairs of their respective committees to give final presentations to the full gathering of more than 3,000 delegates.
