Prep’s Annual Christmas and Holiday Concert filled the O’Keefe Commons with good cheer, sounds of the season, and a packed audience of friends, family, faculty, and staff on Sunday, December 7.
This highly anticipated annual performance by Prep’s Vox, Sodality Jazz Band, and Concert Band featured both new and old holiday favorites, plus basket raffles in support of Prep’s music programs.
The day began with a welcome from Prep President Michael Gomez, Ed.D., ’91 and an invocation by the Rev. Lito Salazar, S.J., and after a rousing program, Prep’s combined Concert and Jazz Bands, directed by Mr. Steve Caslowitz, and Vox, directed by Ms. Emily Fencik, joined together with the audience for “A Christmas Pop Sing-A-Long” as Santa and an elf made their rounds.
We thank everyone who helped make the day a success, and we commend all our students on their well-practiced work.
