Representatives from the 70+ student clubs and organizations that call Prep home welcomed members of the Class of 2029 and transfer students from all grade levels to the Activities Fair on September 25, an annual event hosted by the Office of Student Life.
Tables, posters, illustrative models, multimedia presentations, and one robot filled the O’Keefe Commons and the lobby of the Moriarty Science Center as our community’s newer members took this opportunity to broaden their horizons, to connect with their Prep brothers, and to discover new interests.
Each and every day, Marauders contribute their unique passions and talents to daily life at Grand & Warren, and the fair’s strong attendance this week revealed just how strongly Prep students get involved beyond the classroom.
Prep’s varied co-curricular offerings include: arts groups like Prep Dramatics and our Jazz and Concert Bands; special interest organizations ranging from fishing, to aeronautics, to economics, to gaming, to sports, and beyond; multiple longstanding cultural clubs; and more. Because every activity on our growing student-run roster complements and enhances the Saint Peter’s Prep academic experience, they are “co-curricular,” not extracurricular.
We extend special thanks to all our student leaders. Next week, another Activities Fair will welcome the entire student body during Community Period.
