Before parting ways for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Prep community gathered on Wednesday afternoon for an interfaith prayer service. For more than 20 years, this tradition has offered an opportunity for members of our community to share reflections on gratitude inspired by their respective faith backgrounds.
Represented at this year’s service were the Orthodox Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and Jewish traditions, just a few of the diverse faith communities that exist within our Prep community.
The service concluded with the blessing of the food collected during the Great Ignatian Challenge, our annual food drive, which has gathered an impressive estimated total of nearly 30,000 lbs. of food this year!
More from the prayer service and the Great Ignatian Challenge to follow after the Thanksgiving weekend!
