Prep’s Offices of Alumni Relations and Guidance & College Counseling are excited to, once again, host Career Day at Grand & Warren! On Friday, December 8, we invite alumni from different professions and career backgrounds to speak to our students about their journey from high school to their current professional roles.
We will be using a workshop format, and we hope to welcome back even more alumni to host students in classroom settings for their discussions. If you are interested in serving as a speaker on Career Day, please fill out the form linked below.
Our schedule and format for the day can be found below:
- 9:45 AM: Alumni gather in the Moriarty Science Center Lobby for room assignments
- 10:00 AM: Students and alumni assemble in the Prep Gym for a brief keynote presentation
- 10:15 AM: Keynote Speaker
- 10:30 AM: Students and alumni transition to classrooms for Career Day presentations
- 10:35 AM: First set of Career Day presentations starts
- 11:05 AM: Students transition to classrooms for the second set of presentations
- 11:10 AM: Second set of Career Day presentations
- 11:40 AM: Students transition to classrooms for the third set of presentations
- 11:45 AM: Third set of Career Day presentation
- 12:15 PM: Students are dismissed for the day
- 12:30 PM: Lunch for all alumni speakers in the O’Keefe Commons
