Program History

The Marauder lacrosse team rode a rollercoaster ride to a 13-6 overall record, first ever playoff win and 1st Top 20 ranking in program history during the 2011-2012 season. After a mediocre 2-2 start with losses to tough opponents, the high point of the regular season came in the form of an 8 game win streak that catapulted Prep to a NJ #12 ranking. The streak included wins over Millburn, Caldwell, and state-ranked #8 Westfield. Captain Dylan Rothenberg fueled the team with incredible goal-tending and was named the Star-Ledger Player of the Week  for his efforts. After the win streak, Prep dropped 3 of the final 5 games to close out the regular season. They then opened the playoffs with a win over Pope John in the 1st round before falling to Seton Hall Prep in the Group 4 Non-Public Quarterfinals.
