Dear Prospective Prep Student,

Sometimes being a seventh or sixth grader may not seem like the best years of school. The younger grades seem to be doing so many fun things and the eighth graders….well, they are the older kids and have an exciting year ahead of them. Covid-19 has changed that a bit.

The middle school class of 2021 had to navigate the high school admissions process without being able to take part in summer programs and camps, make a Freshman for a Day visit, or attend an in-person Open House. They did it, but it was challenging.

Luckily, that will not be the case for you. High schools are extremely excited to start welcoming prospective students to visit their campuses. Make sure you take advantage of any opportunity to visit the schools you are considering.

Every student is different and so only you can tell if a school is the right fit. You may hope to be challenged academically or you may need some extra help with your courses. You may be interested in one particular club or you may just want a wide variety from which to choose. You may love a certain sport or you may want to play several during the year.

Explore our website to see if Saint Peter’s Prep has the academics, activities or athletics that interest you. Then try to attend an Open House or visit our campus as a Freshman for a Day and you’ll know if Prep is the school for you. We can’t wait to see you in the coming months!
