Timothy Jimenez had 20 assists, 15 service points, seven digs, and four aces as Saint Peter’s Prep, No. 17 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated Union City, 2-0, on Friday in Union City.

Matthew Coronel had 10 digs, two service points, and two kills, while Aidan Apito had six kills, three digs, and three service points for the Marauders, which outscored its opponent, 25-16, in the first set and now have an 8-5 record. Joseph Parise had six digs and one service point, while Connor O’Flanagan added four service points, two blocks, and one dig.

Next up for the Marauders will be Hillsborough high school. The match will begin at 4:30 P.M. today at the barn in Jersey City.
