Alex Schimmel was victorious in two events as the Saint Peter’s Prep track team took the win at the HCTCA Indoor All-Star Meet at Lincoln Park on Saturday.

Schimmel started the day off by winning the 3200 in a new personal best time of 10:09.14, just seven seconds ahead of his brother Brandon Schimmel who finished in 10:16.77. Schimmel came back later in the day to take the victory in the 1600 in 4:41.93, while Edwin Klanke led a 1-2-3-4 finish in the 800 in a new personal best of 1:56.39. Rodolfo Sanchez (second in 1:57.79), Jack Sipperly (third in 1:59.55), and Patrick McCabe (fourth in 2:09.06) rounded out the rest of the 800m field. Richard Harrington finished fourth in the 3200 (10:42.24) while Tarran Mohan finished fifth (10:48.59).
