Sammy Slade and Paul Lefkowitz combined for 206 rushing yards and two touchdowns as Saint Peter’s Prep, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated No. 5 Saint Joseph (Mont.), 33-20, at Caven Point on Saturday.

The Marauders utilized their running game and strong defense to top St. Joseph for the first time in three years. Tahj Bullock went 10-for-21 with 208 yards, including one touchdown, and added a one-yard TD run. Jaylan Sanchez had one interception while KJ Miles had nine tackles and one forced fumble. CJ Wesley had 10 tackles, and Ethan Rodriguez added four tackles and one sack.

Prep will go on to face Paramus Catholic on Saturday in Paramus. The game will begin at 1:30 P.M.
