Ray Ford Jr. scored a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and had seven rebounds and four assists as top-seeded Saint Peter’s Prep, No. 9 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated eighth-seeded Union City, 71-44, in the quarterfinal round of the Hudson County Tournament at the barn on Saturday.

Will White had 15 points, eight assists and two rebounds while Mark Armstrong had 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Marauders, which outscored its opponent, 34-20, in the first half. Gavin O’Farrell had 10 points, five rebounds and three steals while Mike Farrell had eight points, two rebounds and one assist.

Next up for the Marauders will be fourth-seeded North Bergen in the semifinal round on Tuesday at the barn. Tip off is at 8:00 P.M.
