Alex Leon, who earn his 100th career win earlier in the dual matches, won by major decision as Saint Peter’s Prep defeated Kearny, 64-12, in the final round of the Hudson County Duals on Saturday in Union City.

Patrick Adams, Roger Diaz, Daniel Martinez, Evan Scriber and Angelo Pellicci each pinned their opponent while Connor Cortese won by major decision. This victory gave the Marauders its 12th consecutive Hudson County dual victory and a huge confidence boost heading into the playoffs.

Sean Rendeiro had a technical fall victory and Felix Lentini added a victory by decision after four injury stoppages due to blood.

Next up for the Marauders will be St. Joseph (Montvale), No. 9 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the quarterfinal round of the North Jersey, Non-Public A tournament on Monday, February 10th in Jersey City. The match begins at 6:00 P.M.
