Congrats to two of Prep’s student musicians, Thomas DaCosta Lobo, ’21 and Joshua Sumague, ’21, who have recently earned accolades. Joshua will perform this weekend at Carnegie Hall!

In December, Thomas DaCosta Lobo auditioned for the NJMEA Regional I Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band and was selected as a mallet percussionist. Thomas’ performance was part of the 68th Annual Concert and was held at Parsippany Hills High School on Sunday, January 26.

Also, Joshua Sumague (pictured above with Mr. Caslowtiz) won 1st place at an international piano competition.  Joshua will be performing at the Crescendo International Competition Winners’ Recital this Sunday, February 9, at 1 PM at Zankel Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall!  This will be Joshua’s third performance at Carnegie Hall and, as a winner of this competition, Joshua will be traveling to perform in Austria and Japan next summer.
