It’s a relatively new Prep tradition, but a strong one: this week, for the fourth consecutive year, we have welcomed a group of students from Colegio de la Inmaculada in Lima, Peru. This week, the ten students and two teachers visiting from the Jesuit school in Peru’s capital have participated in a number of activities both with their Prep hosts and with the Brazilian exchange group who arrived last week. Those joint outings have included visits to the Whitney Museum and to Saint Peter’s University, and will conclude with a basketball game at the Barclays Center on Friday evening.

Prep will say goodbye to our Brazilian guests at week’s end, but the Peruvian exchange runs through next week. Still to come are a trip to Fordham Prep and Fordham University, a lunch with Dr. Gomez including an always spirited discussion comparing Jesuit education in Peru and the US, and more.
