The Saint Peter’s Prep football team, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, had a season like no other. The team stepped up to every challenge and ended the season as the NJSIAA Non-Public, Group 4 State Champions. Not only did the team dominate on the field, but they were great leaders off the field as well.

This year the Marauders finished the season with a 11-1 record and ranked 17th in the nation. Tahj Bullock led the show for the Marauders. Bullock, who had four game-winning touchdowns, completed 126 of 210 passes for 2,274 passing yards, had 480 rushing yards, 26 passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns. Jelani Mason had a total of 770 receiving yards with eight touchdowns while Byron Shipman had 608 receiving yards with seven touchdowns. On the defensive end, All-American Cody Simon had 106 total tackles, 4.5 sack, four interceptions and one punt return for a touchdown while Colin Elliot had 110 total tackles and five sacks. George Rooks had 71 tackles and 9.5 sacks while Ben Silver added eight tackles and four sacks.

This year’s team put on a show each time they stepped on the field and Marauder nation cannot wait for the 2020 season.
