Six current seniors and one current junior – not to mention 51 recent graduates! – have earned recognition in the College Board’s AP Scholar Awards program for their work in AP courses during the 2018-19 school year. Their names and achievements are outlined below:


AP Scholar with Distinction Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

  • Gabriel Guedez, ’20
  • Victor Tyne, ’20

AP Scholar with Honor Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

  • Suvan Bhat, ’20
  • Eric Han, ’21

AP Scholar Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3 on three or more AP Exams.

  • Joseph Mastandrea, ’20
  • Matthew Moreira, ’20
