The St. Peter’s Prep track and field team continued its dominance by winning its third straight outdoor Jesuit Championships at Icahn Stadium at Randall’s Island in New York.

The team exhibited great performances and tremendous potential heading into championship season. Richie Luzzi-Liggins was a double winner in the 100 and 200 while Joey Morrone won the 110 hurdles and 180 low hurdles for the Marauders, which outscored Xavier, 147-46, to get the victory.

Prep also received wins from Adonis McGee (High Jump), Philip Okoh (400), Tyler Parrado (1600), Edwin Klanke (Dream Mile), Liam Christman (3200) and Philip DeCrese (Discus). RJ Oben Jr (Shot Put) and Alex Novello (Long Jump) added to the total individual victories.

Prep will travel down to the University of Pennsylvania for the annual Penn Relays this weekend. Competition begins on Friday with the 4×800 relay at 9:50 A.M.
