The St. Peter’s Prep outdoor track and field team show once again why its the king of the county by winning its fifth consecutive Hudson County relay title on Saturday at Lincoln Park in Jersey City.

Prep received victories in nine out of 15 events, including victories in the 4×1600 relay and 4×100 relay.

Adonis McGee led the way for the Marauders by having the top marks in long jump, triple jump and high jump. McGee was also apart of the shuttle hurdles team that took first place.

Several other athletes had great performances for Prep. RJ Oben Jr threw 48-11 in the shot put and 139-00 in the discus. Joseph Morrone ran 58.21, the top time in the county, on the winning intermediate hurdle relay while Lawrence Jenkins split 52.8 on the winning distance medley relay. James Conti threw 131-09, the top mark of the day, in the javelin.

Next up for Prep is the Morris Hills Relays on Saturday in Rockaway, NJ.
