More than 120 young innovators from Prep and other area schools gathered at Grand & Warren last weekend for the second annual MakeSPP.

The day featured a series of coding and web development workshops for all skill levels, with the support of professional mentors (some of them Prep alumni) from a number of industries.

Another session focused on how to pitch a project, which came in handy as teams were then invited to pitch their ideas to the panel of judges, who selected winners overall and in categories.

MakeSPP was once again free for participants, thanks both to the event’s sponsors, and to the team of student organizers, who not only put the day together, but secured all the necessary funding.
