Gabrielle Orbe continued his dominating season by winning the 200 individual medley and the 500 freestyle as third-seeded St. Peter’s Prep, No. 10 in the NJ.com Top 20, fell to second seed and No. 6 St. Augustine, 88-82, in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Non-Public A Championships at Neptune Aquatic Center on Monday.

Ceejay Larino won the 100-breaststroke while Orbe, Larino, Benjy Gomez and Nick Wondoloski won the 200-medley relay for Prep, which qualified for the semifinal round for the first time in school history. The 400-freestyle relay of Wondoloski, Henry Brown, Kevin Whtitorth and Orbe closed out the meet with a victory.

The Marauders will go on to compete in the HCIAL League Championships later this week and the Meet of Champions on March 2nd and 3rd with five individual qualifiers and three relays.
