Adonis McGee put himself in the St. Peter’s Prep record books by breaking the long jump school record while the 4x200m Relay Team finished second at the Eastern State Championships at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York, NY.

McGee jumped a 21-10 1/2, eclipsing the old school record of 21-2 1/4 held by Jonathan Thybulle, and finished fifth in a stacked field. The 4x200m relay team of Richie Luzzi-Liggins, Gus Nations IV, Ayir Assante and Joey Morrone ran a 1:29.29, good for N.J #2 and U.S #13.
RJ Oben Jr. finished fifth in the shot put with a 52-6 1/2 while Luzzi-Liggins finished third in the 200m with a 22.07 (running 21.90 in the prelims).

The Marauders will go on to compete at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions, starting this afternoon with the long jump at the Bennett Center in Toms River. Meet begins at 4 P.M.
