Congratulations to the Prep track & field team on a solid performance at the NJCTC Relays at the NY Armory in New York, NY. The team showcased its talent against the Catholic schools and took home a “would be victory”, if the meet was team scoring, over St. Benedicts Prep, 56-48.

The 4×800 relay team of Paul Ames, Edwin Klanke, Chris Brooks and Rodolfo Sanchez took second place to US #1 St. Benedicts with a 8:01.20. That time is a NJ #2 and a US #3 mark. The 4×400 relay team of Luqman Gbadamassi, Brooks, Mason Holland and Richie Luzzi-Liggins ran 3:28.70, good for third place, NJ #3 and US #13. The 4×200 relay team of Luzzi-Liggins, Ayir Assante, Holland and Gbadamassi ran a 1:33.10 to get the victory and a new NJ #4 mark. Not to be outshined, the HJ relay of Adonis McGee and Assante got the victory with a combined mark of 12-2. McGee 6-4 jump is a NJ #4 jump. Great job to everyone who competed on both the varsity and freshman levels. A link to the full results are below.
