The St. Peter’s Prep basketball team has started its fall campaign in sizzling fashion and made itself known as one of the best teams in the state. The Marauders, No. 18 in the NJ.com Top 20, have a 4-1 overall record and defeated then No. 7 Hudson Catholic, 45-44, last Thursday. The only loss thus far was against No. 7 West Side on Saturday. Freshman phenom Mark Armstrong has started his high school career off strong by having back-to-back 18-point games and a total of five steals. Ahmas Athias scored 15 points, including a pair of three-pointers, against West Side and Will White netted 10 points against Hudson Catholic to help pace Prep. The Marauders will go on face Rumson- Fair Haven in the next round of the Bulldawg Holiday Classic at Rumson-Fair Haven on Friday at 7 P.M.
