Prep Celebrates Holy Week Prayer Service

Before parting ways for the Easter break, the school community gathered for a Holy Week prayer service. Students, teachers, and administrators led the service together, sharing the Stations of the Cross as well as reflections that connected the events of the Passion with the broader themes explored during the recent Arrupe Week and the school year overall: the global refugee crisis, and the call for people of faith to give care to the strangers in our midst.

Mass and Breakouts Conclude Arrupe Week 2018

Arrupe Week 2018 concluded on Friday, March 16, with a day devoted to a closer examination of the global refugee crisis and how people of faith can respond to it morally and compassionately. The day began with Mass, with guest celebrant Fr. Leo O'Donovan, S.J. (Director of Mission for Jesuit Refugee Service/USA). Students then participated in their choice of nearly 30 breakout sessions, led both by guest speakers and members of the Prep community, offering fresh perspectives and more detailed examinations of the issues at hand.
