Mr. Bhima Gaddy, '01, a member of Prep's English department and the moderator of the Ebony Club, extends a special invitation to an evening celebrating Dr. Edward Madison '44 – Prep's first African-American graduate, and an accomplished physician who has provided decades of outstanding service to the Jersey City community.

Hello Prep Community,

My name is Bhima Gaddy '01, and I am the moderator of the Ebony Club. On May 16th, 2018 our club is holding an alumni reunion for all graduates, friends and families who have supported our organization over the last 44 years.

This year we will be honoring our 1st African American graduate, Dr. Edward Madison '44. Dr. Madison is an accomplished obstetrician who has performed over 5,000 childbirths during his professional career. He has been honored by the Jersey City Mayor's Office for his outstanding services to the community and Saint Peter's would like to do the same.

This event will be held in O'Keefe Commons from 6-9pm. For those of you who are not familiar with "The Commons", I'm referring to the old church on the corner of Van Vorst and Grand. If you are interested in attending this event, please email me at The Ebony Club looks forward to meeting you.
