20 for '20: Freshmen Finish Year with Magis Awards

At the end of Wednesday's Exam Review Day, the freshman class of 2020 gathered for a closing assembly, and capped off their freshman year at Grand & Warren by celebrating twenty of their classmates who received Freshman Magis Awards.

The award recipients were nominated by their teachers and peers, and selected by a committee of faculty members. The awards recognize freshmen who have emerged as leaders among their class, striving to do more in their lives as part of the Prep community. In a sign of the increased role the Class of 2020 will play in Prep life as upperclassmen, the awards were presented by recently-graduated members of the Class of 2017.

Pictured below with Mr. DeAngelo are (front row) Colin Elliott, Suvan Bhat, Aidan Guarnuccio, Daniel Cao, Michael Uy, Anthony Ionta, Bryan Barahona, Adam Aziz, and Bryson Shipman. (Back row) Alejandro Schnettler, James Conti, Victor Tyne, Benjamin Silver, Cody Simon, David Gbadamosi, Christopher Cerrone, Luke Morrison, Ethan MacMillan, Gabriel Orbe, and Jay Post.

Congratulations to these outstanding members of the Class of 2020, and to all the freshmen on successfully completing their first year at Prep!
